Gertrude Ada Eeles joined the TFNS in 1909 and was based at the 2nd Southern General Hospital in Portsmouth. She was mobilised in August 1914 and sent to serve in Salonica 20-10-1916. She was attached to the 29th General hospital whilst in Salonica until she was invalided home due to shell shock after her hospital in Salonica was bombed 27-2-1917. She was demobilised in March 1919 & allowed to keep her cape badge. She died as a spinster in a nursing home in Guilford 18-9-1960.
One of only approximately 277 TFWM as issued to this unit.
