Donald Fisher first landed overseas in Mesopotamia 18-7-1915 and was M.I.D for services in Italy 6-1-19.
2) WW1 Pair
To- 2-LIEUT.A.M.FISHER
Alexander McEwan Fisher was serving with the 10th service battalion of the Scottish Rifles when he was killed in action in France & Flanders 24-4-1917. He was 26 years of age at the time of his death and was a junior partner in the family law firm of Nimmo & Fisher solicitors of Wishaw.
Both men are recorded as the sons of Mr & Mrs A.M.Fisher of National Bank House, Wishaw, Lanarkshire
