Andrew Grieve from Westfield, Fife first served overseas with the Royal Field Artillery and went on to serve with the X corps Signal Company of the Royal Engineers. He was awarded the MM for services in France in the London gazette 17-12-1917 and this was followed by the award of the bar to the MM also for services in France in the London gazette 29-8-18.
