WW1 British War Medal & Memorial Plaque
To- 2-LIEUT.S.DONALDSON.
Stuart Donaldson was educated at Edinburgh High school & Edinburgh university. He was a pre war law student & then accountant & played cricket for Selkirk. He was commissioned in to the Highland Light Infantry in 1917 & was wounded in France in the August of that year. He was sadly killed in action in France & Flanders 22-9-1918 serving with the 15th service battalion of the regiment & is buried in White House cemetery, St. Jean, Les, Ypres.
