Adairine Mary Tisdall enlisted on to Princess mary's R.A.F Nursing service in 1932 & trained at the RVI Hospital Belfast. She served throughout WW2 in the UK, Ireland, India & Iraq. She was awarded the Associate of the Royal Red Cross (A.R.R.C) in the London gazette 10-6-1954 & the 1953 Coronation medal roll states that she was serving at RAF hospital Habbanyia.
The A.R.R.C is mint cased & the other three medals are mounted on a bar as worn. Complete with the box of issue for the WW2 medals addressed to the recipient at RAF hospital, Ely, Cambs, the recipients calling card, Air ministry letter of award2x photographs of the recipient in uniform & three assorted newspaper cuttings which include photographs of the recipient in uniform. Along with London gazette & other basic research details.
