William Geary from Ringwood, Hampshire first landed in France 25-7-1915 serving with the Middlesex Regiment. He was awarded the Military Medal for services in France in the London gazette 30-1-1918 whilst serving with the 12th battalion & later went on to serve with both the Essex Regiment & the Royal Fusiliers prior his discharge to the class Z army reserve at the wars end.
