Arthur J Ivey from London was taken prisoner of war at Souchez 21-5-1916 serving with the 7th London Regiment. He left the army at the wars end and enlisted again in 1923. He served in both Burma & Palestine & by 1943 was serving as a Company Sergeant Major when he was discharged. His LS&GC was awarded in 1939 & he applied for his WW2 campaign medals in 1949 whilst living on Aberton on Spey, Banffishire, Scotland.
