Archibald Frame was a long serving N.C.O of the K.O.S.B & served during the Arab revolt of 1936-39 in Palestine. He was awarded his LS&GC in 1938 & served with the Royal Artillery during WW2. When he applied for the issue of his WW2 campaign medals in 1949 he was serving as a SGT with the 583rd medium H.A.A regiment Royal Artillery & was based at the T.A drill hall in Portsmouth. He was awarded the 1953 coronation & the efficiency medal as a T.A.Sgt & a clasp to his efficiency medal was awarded to him in 1961 by which time he was a WO.CL.2 in the Royal Corps of Signals.
