George Preece was born in 1866 & was awarded his LS&GC 1-7-1904. He died whilst serving at home 18-4-1919 & is buried under a CWGC headstone in Wrexham cemetery. The CWGC state that he was the late 53 year old husband of Sarah Ann Preece of 40 Nelson street, Hightown, Wrexham & goes on to state that he was born at Bridgnorth.
