Peter Golding was both born, enlisted & lived in Widnes. He first landed in France 13-7-1915 serving with the 6th battalion of the Dorset regiment. He was sadly killed in action in France & Flanders 8-11-1916 age 26 & having no known grave he is commemorated on the Thiepval memorial. The CWGC list his N.O.K as his mother.
