Peter Gregson was awarded his I.S.M in the London gazette 12-11-1982 for his services as a driver with the Ministry of defence. He was awarded his Royal Observer Corps long service medal in 1967 for his services with no-21 group which at this stage was based in Lancaster but went on to be based in Preston.
