Isadore Kremer was a member of the Jewish faith & was living in Cardiff when he enlisted in to the 10th battalion of the Welsh regiment 2-3-1916. He transferred to the 1st battalion of the Leicestershire regiment in France and was wounded by gun shot to the back at St Quention 18-9-1918 whilst serving as a stretcher bearer . He went on to be awarded the MM in the London gazette 14-5-1919 & returned home to Cardiff. He died on Christmas day 1990 in Southampton age 92. He is listed as a member of the training reserve in the British Jewry book of honour 1914-1918.
