The recipient was a resident of Hyde Park, Leeds & enlisted in to the 2nd battalion of the Yorkshire Regiment in 1912. He first landed in France with the battalion 20-3-1915 & was dangerously wounded by gun shot in France later the same year. He was discharged with a silver war badge in 1916 & went on to work for the GPO in Leeds. He was awarded the ISM in the London gazette 22-9-1961 as a Technician class 1
Trio GVF & mounted as worn with the ribbons in the incorrect order & The ISM is mint in its original case of issue. Complete with MIC details, London gazette details, medal roll details & other basic research details.
