David Kynoch from Kincardine O Neil, Banchory, Kincardineshire was 19 years of age when he enlisted in to the Gordon Highlanders at Aberdeen 18-1-1892. He was wounded at Doornkop 29-5-1900 serving with the 1st battalion & was discharged later the same year.
