Donald Baillie from Brora, Sutherland was a long serving member of the 5th battalion Seaforth Highlanders. He was awarded his Territorial Force Efficiency medal in in army order 234 dated 1-7-1913 & first landed in France serving with the battalion 1-5-1915. He was later issued with the six figure TF service number 266980 & was discharged with a silver war badge due to sickness 4-7-1918 age 38. He was issued with a small war pension and returned to live on Gower Street in Brora.
