Anthony Lally lived at 67 Rawdon road, Wallsend on Tyne & was one of the original members of the 24th service battalion of the Northumberland Fusiliers / 1st Tyneside Irish. He enlisted 9-11-1914 & received gun shot wounds to the right arm in France in February 1916. He was discharged with a silver war badge due to these wounds 9-6-1916 age 36 & awarded a pension.
