George Charles Weedon was born at New Southgate, Middlesex 11-2-1880 & enlisted in to the Royal Navy as a boy 11-2-1898. He served onboard HMS Isis during the Boxer rebellion of 1900 & was discharged to shore by purchase in 1905. He joined the RFR the day after his discharge & during WW1 served onboard HMS Wildfire & HMS Lancaster before being demobilized in 1919.
