Roland Walker from Halifax first landed in France 14-4-1915 serving with the 1/4th battalion of the Duke of Wellington's West Riding Regiment. He was killed in action in France & Flanders 9-12-1915 age 21. He is buried in Talana farm cemetery & is recorded by the CWGC as the late son of Annie Walker of 2 Grange terrace, Lightcliffe, Halifax.
