Cecil.Y.Jones first landed in France 3-11-1914 & The clasp to the 1914 star is confirmed on his MIC. He is recorded in the casualty list dated 11-1-1915 as having been wounded in France & was commissioned in to his own unit 23-10-1915. He went on to serve in the post war North West Persia campaign with the 122nd Rajput infantry.
