WW1 Memorial scroll in a period frame

ROYAL ARMY MEDICAL CORPS.
The recipient died of wounds in France & Flanders 25-3-1918 whilst attached to the 15th service battalion of the Notts & Derby regiment. He had been mortally wounded on the Somme the previous day. He was educated at both Monkton Combe & Edinburgh university. He was 32 years of age at the time of his death & is buried in Abbevlle communal cemetery extension & is recorded by the CWGC as the late Son of Rev. Canon Arthur Lukyn Williams and Caroline Bessie Williams, of Guilden Morden, Royston, Herts; husband of Maude K. Lukyn-Williams, of 3, Southwood Court, London, N.W.1I.
A very nice clean example that is slightly yellow with age & is housed in a basic black thin period glazed wooden frame.
