Thomas Parr Bithell was both born & enlisted in Wigan & lived in Ince, Wigan. He first landed in theatre of war 2B Gallipoli / The Balkans 11-10-1915 serving with the 11th service battalion of the Manchester Regiment. He was sadly killed in action in France & Flanders 16-8-1917 & having no known grave he is commemorated on the Tyne Cot memorial.
