Harry / Harold Nickson from Manchester first landed in France 4-5-1915 & was killed in action in France & Flanders 30-10-1915 serving with the 4th battalion of the Loyal North Lancashire Regiment. He was 32 years of age at the time of his death & is buried in Aveluy communal cemetery extension on the Somme. He is recorded by the CWGC as the late husband of Henry & Elizabeth Nickson of Redcroft, Lytham, Lancashire & the late husband of Rita Charlotte Rooke of Liverpool.
