Albert Sayer was both born & lived in Grimston, Norfolk & enlisted in King's Lynn. He was sadly killed in action in France & flanders 27-1-1917 serving with the 1st battalion of the Border Regiment & was 19 years of age at the time of his death. He has no known grave but is commemorated on the Thiepval memorial & is recorded by the CWGC as the late son of Thomas & Sarah Ann Sayer of Church Hill, Grimston, King's Lynn.
