John LeBlond was born & enlisted in Hamilton, Lanarkshire & lived in Motherwell.
He first landed in France 17-8-1914 serving with the 2nd Dragoons / Royal Scots Greys & was sadly killed in action in France & Flanders 7-9-1914 & is buried in Rebais communal cemetery. He has a one line entry in De Ruvignys roll of honour.
