James Alexander Milling was born in Heworth, County Durham & enlisted in Felling. He was sadly killed in action in France & Flanders 15-9-1916 age 22 & is buried in Adanac military cemetery at Miraumont. He is recorded by the CWGC as the late son of David & Mary Ellen Milling of 5 Garden terrace, Felling, Gateshead.
