Robert Holborn was born in Kirkaldy and first landed in France 27-6-1915 serving with the 5th battalion of the Durham Light Infantry with service number 5-7115. He was later issued with the six digit TF number 325603 and was awarded the MM for services in France with the 9th battalion in the London gazette 13-3-1919.
