James Young from Glasgow originally served in France with the Seaforth Highlanders with service number S-14714. He transferred to the 20th service battalion of the Durham light infantry & was awarded the MM for services in France in the London gazette 11-2-1919 & he went on to finish his war serving with the Labour Corps with service number 118057.
