Henry Charles Tibble was born in Battersea, London 14-11-1875 & enlisted in to the Royal Navy in January 1895. He served onboard submarines from 1913 & was awarded the Distinguished Service Medal (DSM) for services in Submarines in the London gazette 2-11-17 & the official recommendation states it was for long & arduous service in submarines & onboard HM submarine J5. The rest of the recipients group with a renamed victory medal sold at spinks 10-4-2019 for £1100 plus premiums.
