A nice family group to two brothers who sadly both made the ultimate sacrifice during WW1.
1) WW1 Territorial Force War Medal & Memorial plaque

Albert Victor rose was born in Coombs Suffolk & enlisted in Stowmarket. He died of wounds in France & Flanders 9-4-1918 serving with the 7th battalion of the Suffolk regiment. He was 22 years of age at the time of his death and is buried in Doullens Communal cemetery extension No-1

Reuben Rose enlisted in Bury St Edmunds & was killed in action 27-3-1918 serving with the 7th battalion of the Suffolk regiment. He was 19 year old at the time of his death and is commemorated on the Pozieres memorial.
Both recipients are recorded by the CWGC as the late sons of Arthur & laura Rose of Woolpit, Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk.
The group to A.V.Rose is missing the recipients WW1 Pair whilst the group to R.Rose is missing its memorial plaque.
