William Grey was born in Hackney, London 18-10-64 and enlisted into the Royal Marine Light Infantry in London 18-5-1883. He served at Egypt & the Sudan 1884-1885 & was in action at Suakin 1885. He was awarded his LS&GC in 1894 & was discharged to pension during the same year. He was recalled for service in WW1 & served at home for the duration.
F/VF with heavy contact marks from the Khedives star & with traces of old lacquer to all three medals. Complete with copy service papers.
