Frederick Joseph Denash was an Irish Roman Catholic & was born in County Mayo 10-4-1882. He enlisted in Liverpool 29-8-1899 & served with the Plymouth battalion of the Royal Marine Light Infantry He was awarded his LS&GC in 1919 & his Russian award is confirmed on his service papers. He was discharged in 1921 & his service papers note that he died 18-3-1944.
