Herbert George Lush was awarded the Belgian Croix-De-Guerre in the London Gazette 25-7-1918 for his services with the Royal Garrison Artillery in France. The London gazette states that he was a resident of Westbury in Wiltshire.
Complete with a large & heavy hallmarked sterling silver presentation cigarette case with the following engraved inscription.
To Gunner.H.G.Lush 78566 R.G.A In token of services rendered and honour achieved in the Great War from his principals 1918. Awarded the Belgian Croix-De-Guerre 1918.(Total Weight 202 grams)
Along with a small original newspaper cutting with regards to the recipient receiving the award diploma for his foreign decoration.
