The 29th service battalion of the London Regiment did not serve overseas as a battalion but did send one company to serve in Murmansk in 1919. However Francis.J.Boyles medal index card states that he went on to serve with the Welsh Regiment with service number 57387 & served with both the 5th & 6th battalions at the infantry base depot.
His WW2 Defence medal box is addressed to him in Bognor Regis whilst the postal envelope for the WW1 Pair is addressed to Southgate London.
