Ernest Lee first landed in theatre of war 3 Gallipoli on the 26th of April 1915 serving with the Derby Yeomanry. he went on to be commissioned in to the 18th service battalion of the Manchester regiment & finished his WW1 service serving as a captain with the A.S.C / R.A.S.C. He went on to serve again in WW2 as a captain on the general list. & was commissioned in 1941. When he applied for the issue of his WW1 campaign medals in 1921 he was living in Ashbourne, Derbyshire.
NEF & Court mounted as worn. The 1914-15 star has been gilded / gold plated & the Defence & War medals have been neatly privately named as stated above. Complete with MIC & London gazette details.
