Percy.T.Strange first landed in France 10-7-1915 serving with the Kings Own Scottish Borderers. He later renumbered as 201801 & was awarded the French Croix-De-Guerre in the London Gazette dated 25-11-1918 & this was followed by the award of the Military Medal for services in France in the London gazette dated 24-1-1919. Both awards are for service with the 5th battalion & the London Gazette states that the recipient was a resident of Glasgow.
